We love to celebrate our people and we are proud to have been Internationally recognized as a “Great Place to Work\".  </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Art Director</span> is responsible for producing creative concepts, pitches, presentation materials and other visual collateral while providing mentorship and support to their team of Designers.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Senior Art Director works with leaders across other departments to coordinate the successful execution of multidisciplinary tactics, including digital and print pieces. This individual is comfortable working in close-knit and collaborative teams with a wide range of skills and personalities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop smart and strategic creative that is on-brand and response-oriented.</li>\n<li>Apply and uphold brand identity systems on new and existing projects for numerous clients.</li>\n<li>Execute designs and develop interactive concepts/projects based on wireframes, copy decks and supplied direction with minimum oversight.</li>\n<li>Able to produce accurate poster or print layouts and review the work from Designers.</li>\n<li>Able to stand in for the Creative Director during any absence</li>\n<li>Capable of presenting to clients and selling through creative concepts/ideas</li>\n<li>Collaborate internally with multiple teams to manage and produce deliverables that meet client needs and expectations.</li>\n<li>Support team professionally and set an example of our design standards and industry best practices.</li>\n<li>Manage and mentor a team of designers.</li>\n<li>Clearly articulate ideas and communicate visual style and conceptual direction. Provide reasoning behind design decisions. Prepare thoughtful critiques and constructive feedback as necessary.</li>\n<li>Maintain proficiency in all aspects of production to be able to see projects through completion from start to finish.</li>\n<li>Stay current on interactive, design trends and emerging technologies with a hunger to innovate. Share knowledge and ideas with the team.</li>\n<li>Identify and suggest solutions for resolving technical, creative and workload issues.</li>\n<li>Provide accurate estimates to Client Engagement on behalf of team members.</li>\n<li>Ensure work always meets deadlines, budget, and quality expectations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Design or related studies</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years of relevant experience in a design, print studio, or marketing agency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent leadership skills</li>\n<li>A strong portfolio that exhibits conceptual thinking (both visual and interactive), exceptional typography skills and an excellent understanding of design principles.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of both digital (including mobile) and print production processes experience</li>\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of our client’s brand guidelines and the ability to create innovative visual solutions</li>\n<li>An understanding of and passion for the life sciences industry</li>\n<li>Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with an enthusiasm for pixel-perfect work.</li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize assignments based on the needs of the business</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, internal and external stakeholders</li>\n<li>High degree of motivation undaunted by rewarding hard work</li>\n<li>Ability to deliver within deadlines with a strong follow-through on projects and duties</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Mac OS working environment, with broad knowledge of Adobe CC and Figma</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Compensation Disclosure:</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The expected compensation range for this role is<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$90,000 to $110,000 (CAN)</span>. Compensation will be determined based on an applicant’s skills, competencies, experience, and qualifications. Employees may progress within this range over time based on performance, tenure, and internal equity considerations.
