Centra Medical Group is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join our team at Southside Community Hospital, located in Farmville, Virginia.&nbsp;</p><p>This opportunity in <strong>Farmville&nbsp;</strong>can truly set you up to make a difference and be a vital part of the community in a way that metro-area practices can’t always provide. Home to Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College, Farmville is an easy drive to metropolitan areas including Lynchburg, Richmond, Charlottesville and Washington, D.C. and less than an hour drive to the Blue Ridge Mountains and a morning drive to the coast!</p><p><strong>You Can Expect</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Pager call daily 8am-4pm + 10 days/month of 24/7 call + 1 weekend</li><li>Procedure days every morning 8am-12pm M-F + Wednesday 12pm-4pm (caseload approximately 11-15/day)</li><li>Clinic is in the afternoons 4 days/week, seeing approximately 8 patients/day</li><li>Annual scope volume is approximately 2,200/year</li></ul></li><li>The practice is fully supported by nurses and 2 APPs</li><li>Volumes are high with 2-4 new in-patient consults/day, which may require follow-up</li><li>BC/BE Gastroenterology Physician&nbsp;</li><li>ERCP experience a plus</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Competitive Compensation: $600k /year&nbsp;</li><li>Sign On Bonus of $45k</li><li>Relocation up to $15k&nbsp;</li><li>Allowable Time Off (ATO) of 224 hours/year</li><li>CME Stipend and Days: $7,500 and 5 days</li><li>Malpractice insurance and medical/vision/dental coverage</li><li>Matching 403b Retirement account contribution - immediate vesting</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Completion of medical degree and residency training in Gastroenterology.</li><li>MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician’s primary specialty. Must be Board Certified or in the process of certifying.</li><li>5 years’ experience preferred.</li></ul><p><br><strong>Farmville&nbsp;</strong>is a vibrant and growing small town located in the heart of Virginia.
