This role ensures full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including proper load handling and secure strapping. The driver is expected to deliver all tools in a condition ready for immediate customer use. In addition to driving duties, this position will also assist in the shop by assembling tools as needed. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and overall responsibility.<br><br><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;1. Loading and Transporting Tools</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>&nbsp;Load setting toolboxes (maximum of 32 tools per box) onto a 1-ton pickup truck using a forklift.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Secure each box using two 4” ratchet straps to prevent movement during transport.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Ensure the maximum load per trip does not exceed 47 tools, typically split between two boxes.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety protocols.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Complete QA/QC documentation for each delivery and retrieval event using the KPA iFortress app in accordance with company procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>2. Field Delivery Process&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver setting tools to customer locations in the field as scheduled.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Unload tools by hand, one at a time, from the box and place them neatly into Fortress storage box on site.</li>\n <li>Ensure tools are arranged safely and logically for easy customer access and inventory control rotation.</li>\n <li>Maintain respectful, professional communication with onsite personnel during delivery.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>3. Retrieval of Used tools</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Remove used setting tools from the on-site Fortress box and load them by hand back into the same box used to deliver the new tools.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Transport used tools back to the Fortress shop for cleaning, building, inspection and reloading.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>&nbsp;Valid CDL or appropriate state driver’s license for 1-ton pickup operation (CDL preferred but not mandatory unless required by load weight/state).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Forklift Certified or ability to be trained and certified.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Ability to repeatedly lift, carry and maneuver tools weighing up to 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Strong communication and documentation skills.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic DOT regulations and safe load securement practices.</li>\n</ul>",
