We strongly encourage candidates of color, and/or from diverse backgrounds/underrepresented groups to apply.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB OVERVIEW</span><br>This dual-track role supports the Lead Draper in pattern creation and cutting, while serving as the primary<br>Cutter/Draper on select projects as assigned.<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS</span><br>● Assist the Lead Draper in creating patterns and grading them to various sizes.<br>● Serve as the lead Cutter/Draper on designated projects or when the Lead Draper is unavailable.<br>● Prepare alterations from fittings for Stitchers and help supervise shop sewing.<br>● Create patterns for facings and linings based on original draper patterns.<br>● Attend fittings to assist the Draper and take detailed alteration notes.<br>● Other duties as assigned.<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span><br>● Strong knowledge of costume construction and basic pattern drafting skills.<br>● Ability to manage time effectively and follow through on individual projects.</p>\n<p>● Must be comfortable working with students and volunteers.<br>● Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30 lbs.<br>● Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license are preferred.<br>*This job description is not comprehensive and is subject to change at any time</p>\n<p><br>HOW TO APPLY<br>Complete application through https://barringtonstageco.bamboohr.com/careers/</p>",
