    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community is hiring a full-time Personal Care Adie/Home Health Aide (PCA/HHA) to work the evening shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Under the general direction of the Supervisor-In-Charge, the PCA/HHA provides direct personal care and assistance to residents as needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this opportunity is $18.65 - $18.95 per hour.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Why work for DePaul?</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Make a positive difference in someone's life</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Supportive work environment</strong></li>\n <li><strong>We value diversity</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Opportunity for professional development and career advancement</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Excellent benefits and competitive wages</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Provide personal care for each resident assigned by the Supervisor-In-Charge (SIC)</li>\n<li>Observe resident for any change in condition and report to the SIC. </li>\n<li>Assist with maintaining a safe environment</li>\n<li>Assist with meal service and provide eating assistance as necessary.</li>\n<li>Assist with all activities of daily living as needed (shaving, bathing, fingernail care, dressing, toileting, grooming, hair care, oral hygiene, etc.).</li>\n<li>Daily bed making and scheduled bed linen changes.</li>\n<li>Must document all services provided to ALP Residents as indicated on the Aide Activity Sheet before leaving shift.</li>\n<li>Helps to maintain each resident’s independence, self-respect, personal dignity and personal safety.</li>\n<li>Assists the Activities Director with planned activities and encourages residents to participate.</li>\n<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to provide appropriate PCA /  HHA certification as required by New York State.</li>\n <li>Must have the required references and criminal record check.</li>\n <li>Must have annual TB screening and Health Assessment completed.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>This position is eligible for the following benefits: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Generous PTO & Paid Holidays, 403B Employer Match and Employee Discount Programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>DePaul is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
