Your responsibilities will include:</p><p>Forklift Operations:</p><ul><li>Loading and unloading pallets to and from trailers with precision and care.</li><li>Moving pallets to their correct locations throughout the warehouse to maintain organization and accessibility.</li><li>Completing daily inspections of the forklift using a provided checklist, ensuring it is in safe operating condition.</li><li>Safely refueling tanks, following established procedures for changing out propane tanks or charging electric tanks.</li><li>Completing and confirming accuracy of loads, whether on paper or electronically, verifying counts of good and bad loads, and acting as the final inspector for all trailer loads.</li><li>Ensuring that all materials moved from one location to the next are properly accounted for and marked for accurate documentation.</li><li>Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.</li><li>Following all safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Adapting to new schedules, team structures, or tasks based on operational needs.</li></ul><p><strong>What We&#39;re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Prior forklift experience is required.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>Ability to lift 70&ndash;100 lbs throughout the day.</li><li>High School diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Must pass PLA forklift certification (certification provided on-site if current is not transferable).</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.</li><li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">Capable of lifting and moving heavy materials regularly throughout the shift (e.g., lumber, pallets).</li><li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise, and dust.</li><li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">Requires good manual dexterity and tactile sensitivity for operating tools, handling materials, and inspecting pallet quality.</li><li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions in a noisy environment, as well as alarms and equipment sounds.</li><li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">Excellent vision (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) for detailed work, reading measurements, identifying defects, and operating machinery safely.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in both a warehouse and outdoor yard environment. This may include exposure to dust, fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold), and moderate to high noise levels.
