          "text": "<p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Health &amp; Safety Advisor</strong> to support our Western Canada operations. The ideal candidate can be based in either Edmonton, Vancouver or Calgary.</p><p>This role is a key member of the national H&amp;S team and will provide both <strong>technical safety leadership</strong> and <strong>corporate-level H&amp;S support</strong>. The position requires a professional who can balance field engagement with structured safety systems, documentation, and senior-level influence. This will depend on specific projects and seasonality.</p><p><strong>Technical &amp; Professional H&amp;S Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Provide senior-level H&amp;S advisory support to engineering and construction oversight teams across Western Canada</li><li>Conduct and lead <strong>complex incident investigations</strong>, including root cause analysis and systemic corrective actions</li><li>Advise leaders and project teams on hazard identification, risk assessment, and control strategies for engineering projects (large and small) across a variety of industries.</li><li>Support regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions and disciplines.</li><li>Lead and/or participate in audits, inspections, and assurance activities with a focus on sustainability and defensible outcomes</li><li>Provide expert input into H&amp;S planning for new projects, emerging risks, and operational changes</li></ul><p><strong>Corporate, Administrative &amp; Strategic Support</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and complete client and contractor H&amp;S prequalification submissions, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency</li><li>Support organizational change through:<ul><li>Gap assessments</li><li>Integration of systems, processes, and expectations</li></ul></li><li>Maintain safety records, dashboards, compliance trackers, and audit evidence</li><li>Contribute to development and continuous improvement of H&amp;S programs, policies, and procedures</li><li>Prepare clear, professional written communications for leaders, clients, and regulators</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership, Influence &amp; Communication</strong></p><ul><li>Influence and coach senior leaders, project managers, and technical professionals to achieve safety outcomes</li><li>Build credibility with experienced engineering and operations leaders who may be resistant to change</li><li>Navigate challenging conversations professionally and constructively</li><li>Translate technical H&amp;S requirements into practical, business‑aligned solutions</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Experience &amp; Professional Profile</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of progressive Health &amp; Safety experience, preferably in multi-disciplinary or consulting environments</li><li>Proven ability to operate independently and manage competing technical and administrative priorities</li><li>Strong analytical and writing skills; able to produce high-quality documentation suitable for legal, regulatory, and client review</li><li>Comfortable working with senior professionals and influencing without direct authority</li></ul><p><strong>Required</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma or degree in Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Engineering, or related discipline</li><li><strong>CRSP designation</strong> (or equivalent) required</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Western Canadian OHS legislation and regulatory frameworks</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading <strong>formal incident investigations</strong> using recognized methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis)</li></ul><p><strong>Strongly Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting engineering-led organizations or professional services environments</li><li>Experience supporting organizational change from an H&amp;S perspective</li><li>Additional certifications related to investigation, auditing, or risk management</li><li>Experience with COR audit</li></ul><p><em>This role may not be a fit if you:</em></p><ul><li><em>Are seeking a primarily site-based or enforcement-focused position</em></li><li><em>Strongly dislike administrative work, documentation, or reporting</em></li><li><em>Prefer minimal interaction with corporate processes</em></li></ul>",
