    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">The Judges of the Nevada Court of Appeals are currently accepting applications for law clerkships starting in <strong>Summer/Fall of 2027.</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">As&nbsp;a&nbsp;law&nbsp;clerk,&nbsp;you&#39;ll&nbsp;work&nbsp;directly&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;Judge&nbsp;assisting&nbsp;in&nbsp;processing&nbsp;appeals&nbsp;and&nbsp;writ&nbsp;petitions.&nbsp;Your tasks&nbsp;will&nbsp;include&nbsp;legal&nbsp;research,&nbsp;drafting&nbsp;bench&nbsp;memos,&nbsp;preparing&nbsp;orders&nbsp;and&nbsp;opinions,&nbsp;and&nbsp;reviewing and editing documents.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Clerkships are available for one year. The Nevada Court of Appeals is primarily based in Las Vegas but clerkships are available in both Carson City (for Judge Gibbons) and Las Vegas (for Chief Judge Bulla and Judge Westbrook).</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Please&nbsp;note&nbsp;that the&nbsp;Court&nbsp;of&nbsp;Appeals&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;fast-paced working&nbsp;environment.&nbsp;Law&nbsp;clerks&nbsp;are&nbsp;expected to complete all assignments in a timely manner, which may require evening, weekend, and holiday work, as well as periodic out-of-town travel.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and judicial mentorship at the appellate level of Nevada&#39;s judiciary.
