Job Summary:
The Cash Flow Manager is responsible for supporting consolidated cash flow and balance sheet financial reporting requirements by preparing and analyzing financial information and processes.
Job Duties:
Ensures the application of proper accounting policies and processes and leads the development of best practices for the balance sheet and cash flow
Manages month-end/quarter-end close for assigned balance sheet areas
Reviews journal entries, account analyses, and flux explanations
Ensures appropriate balance sheet classification (current/noncurrent) and consistent accounting policies across entities/service lines
Prepares/reviews cash flow statement support, including change-in-cash tie-outs and operating/investing/financing classification
Tracks and documents non-cash activity impacting cash flow disclosures (e.g., lease activity, financing arrangements, accrual movements)
Oversees and reconciles specific accounts such as unbilled A/R / contract assets, contract liabilities/deferred revenue, and WIP
Partners with Billing and Revenue Accounting to ensure accurate cut-off, completeness of unbilled positions, and resolution of reconciling items
Supports analysis of Principal/employee advances, reimbursable costs, and other working-capital items tied to engagements
Reviews documentation for client trust accounts, escrow balances, restricted cash, and related compliance requirements
Ensures proper presentation and disclosure considerations for restricted cash and related movements
Assists/Manages intercompany accounting, eliminations support, settlements, and reconciliations, including cross-border/cross-entity cash movements as applicable
Reviews compensation-related accruals relevant to professional services (e.g., bonuses, incentive comp, payroll taxes, stock-based compensation, etc)
Collaborates with other members of the team to implement proper internal controls (specifically financial reporting and cash flow analysis)
Assists in the external audit of the Company’s financial statements
Standardizes and improves reconciliation templates, roll forwards, and close calendars; and assist with root-cause remediation
Communicates clearly with stakeholders
Elevates issues with proposed solutions and timeline impacts
Maintains monthly balance sheet reconciliation package (with aging, cash flow matrix, reconciling item action plans)
Maintains cash flow statement workpapers (change-in-cash tie-out, non-cash schedules, classification support)
Verifies unbilled/contract asset and deferred revenue analyses (as applicable)
Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Acts as a mentor to Accounting Analysts
Assists in the development of Accounting Analysts by helping them improve their understanding of their job duties and/or delegated tasks
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, required; with a focus in Accounting or Finance, preferred
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred
Experience:
Eight (8) or more years of general accounting experience, required
Experience working within the finance department in a large multi-national corporation, preferred
Experience with foreign currency accounting, preferred
Experience supervising employees, preferred
License/Certifications:
CPA, preferred
Software:
Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required
Prior experience using One Stream Financials and/or Oracle Cloud, preferred
Language:
N/A
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels
Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with an attention to detail

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $120,000 - $130,000
Maryland Range: $120,000 - $130,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $120,000 - $130,000

"ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong><u>Job Summary: </u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>The Cash Flow Manager is responsible for supporting consolidated cash flow and balance sheet financial reporting requirements by preparing and analyzing financial information and processes.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Job Duties:</u></strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Ensures the application of proper accounting policies and processes and leads the development of best practices for the balance sheet and cash flow</span></li>\n <li><span>Manages month-end/quarter-end close for assigned balance sheet areas </span></li>\n <li><span>Reviews journal entries, account analyses, and flux explanations</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures appropriate balance sheet classification (current/noncurrent) and consistent accounting policies across entities/service lines</span></li>\n <li><span>Prepares/reviews cash flow statement support, including change-in-cash tie-outs and operating/investing/financing classification</span></li>\n <li><span>Tracks and documents non-cash activity impacting cash flow disclosures (e.g., lease activity, financing arrangements, accrual movements)</span></li>\n <li><span>Oversees and reconciles specific accounts such as unbilled A/R / contract assets, contract liabilities/deferred revenue, and WIP </span></li>\n <li><span>Partners with Billing and Revenue Accounting to ensure accurate cut-off, completeness of unbilled positions, and resolution of reconciling items</span></li>\n <li><span>Supports analysis of Principal/employee advances, reimbursable costs, and other working-capital items tied to engagements</span></li>\n <li><span>Reviews documentation for client trust accounts, escrow balances, restricted cash, and related compliance requirements</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures proper presentation and disclosure considerations for restricted cash and related movements</span></li>\n <li><span>Assists/Manages intercompany accounting, eliminations support, settlements, and reconciliations, including cross-border/cross-entity cash movements as applicable</span></li>\n <li><span>Reviews compensation-related accruals relevant to professional services (e.g., bonuses, incentive comp, payroll taxes, stock-based compensation, etc)</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborates with other members of the team to implement proper internal controls (specifically financial reporting and cash flow analysis)</span></li>\n <li><span>Assists in the external audit of the Company’s financial statements</span></li>\n <li><span>Standardizes and improves reconciliation templates, roll forwards, and close calendars; and assist with root-cause remediation</span></li>\n <li><span>Communicates clearly with stakeholders </span></li>\n <li><span>Elevates issues with proposed solutions and timeline impacts</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintains monthly balance sheet reconciliation package (with aging, cash flow matrix, reconciling item action plans)</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintains cash flow statement workpapers (change-in-cash tie-out, non-cash schedules, classification support)</span></li>\n <li><span>Verifies unbilled/contract asset and deferred revenue analyses (as applicable)</span></li>\n <li><span>Other duties as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Acts as a mentor to Accounting Analysts</span></li>\n <li><span>Assists in the development of Accounting Analysts by helping them improve their understanding of their job duties and/or delegated tasks</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong><u>Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</u></strong></span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:9pt\"><span><strong>Education:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree, required;
