Join us and be part of something extraordinary.</p>\n<p>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Alternatives Real Estate Investment Team.. This role is located in LA, California, or <b>Lake Mary Florida.</b></p>\n<p><b>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct multiple Fund Accounting teams responsible for conducting accounting services on behalf of a broad array of assigned clients, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.</li>\n <li>Manage financial and human resources for the unit, ensuring assigned teams operate effectively to meet unit goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Direct processes and resource allocation to determine the net asset value (NAV) for assigned funds across multiple sectors for each measurement cycle.</li>\n <li>Manage relationships with a broad set of clients, resolving unique escalated issues related to fund calculations and accounting.</li>\n <li>Set priorities for processes that verify completeness and accuracy of disclosures in financial statements and provide guidance to teams to maintain accounting records in accordance with departmental policies.</li>\n <li>Evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to assess the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices and develop strategies for implementation.</li>\n <li>Implement and assist in setting guidelines, policies, and priorities for drafting financial reports for clients to review fund performance, communicating complex accounting details effectively.</li>\n <li>Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual contributions, professional growth, and team effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Oversee relationships with auditors and clients to ensure financial reports accurately depict fund performance.</li>\n <li>Manage multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams primarily through subordinate managers and contribute to achieving multiple team objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>8 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.</li>\n <li>Proven leadership and team development skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">BNY Newsroom</a></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">BNY LinkedIn&nbsp;</a></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Here’s a few of our recent awards:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025</li>\n <li>World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025</li>\n <li>“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br>\n  Our Benefits and Rewards:</p>\n<p>BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $225,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
