By encouraging employees to bring their whole selves to work, we create a diverse and equitable environment where&nbsp;all our voices are heard.</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking an Onsite Construction Manager to oversee a variety of Agency CM projects with an emphasis in K-12 school, higher education, aviation and municipal projects. &nbsp;The onsite Construction Manager is responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of a single project or may be part of larger project team on large scale projects. Opportunities exist throughout New York State, with emphasis in Utica and the Mohawk Valley.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have a working knowledge of Construction, as well as company guidelines, procedures, and goals.</li><li>Strong communication and client services skills are required for this position.</li><li>The ability to generate reports regarding the status of the project, contract documents and construction services is also preferred.</li><li>Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of site activities for projects up to $10 million or assist on projects that are more complex.</li><li>Plan, organize and direct activities of the project to minimize the impact on the owner&rsquo;s operations and staff</li><li>Coordinate activities between contractors onsite, resolve contractor coordination disputes</li><li>Review installation of contractors work for conformance with drawings and specifications</li><li>Maintain an accurate project record, including a daily log of all project related activities and communications.</li><li>Review payment applications for acceptance of completed work</li><li>Review change orders for validation of additional scope</li><li>Work collaboratively with the design team, contractor and owner<del cite=\"mailto:Nathan%20Van%20Wie\" datetime=\"2025-09-24T14:55\">&nbsp;</del>to resolve contractor&rsquo;s questions or field conditions</li><li>Maintain an updated set of drawings and specifications</li><li>Assist in the preparation of project status reports.</li><li>Develop, monitor and track project deficiencies, including punch lists</li><li>Develop project schedules and short interval schedules</li><li>Assist in the management of the project budget</li><li>Assist in the completion of pre-construction activities such as project phasing, scheduling, cost estimating, etc.</li><li>Develops and maintains relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors and vendors to help develop new opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering Discipline preferred</li><li>Associates degree with 3+ years of trade level experience in a Supervisory or Project Engineer Role as an alternative to a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree.</li><li>5+ years of trade level experience in lieu of Degree</li><li>Understanding of construction / engineering practices</li><li>Use of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel and Word</li><li>Use of Project Management and Scheduling Software</li><li>Familiarization with PROCORE is a preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>$<strong>70,000 - $90,000/year*</strong></strong></p><p><em>*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.</em></p><p>Learn about our comprehensive <a href=\"https://www.cscos.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Comprehensive-Benefits_2024_rev.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Benefits</a></p><p><strong>WHO WE ARE:</strong> C&amp;S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm with more than 600 employees and growing.
