We partner with clients to solve complex product and facilities challenges, optimize operations, and support the lifecycle management of critical infrastructure and real property.&nbsp;</p><p>With a rich history of optimizing manufacturing processes and improving efficiency, we are looking for a highly skilled <strong><em>Manufacturing Engineer</em></strong> to join our team. At Munro Defense, you&#39;ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and make a significant impact on the world of manufacturing.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Read and interpret technical data packages and requirements, translating them into manufacturing or assembly process requirements.</li><li>Assist in the planning, design, and launch of manufacturing processes.</li><li>Apply lean principles to existing product design and manufacturing processes by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.</li><li>Recommend capital equipment to achieve manufacturing goals based on product specifications.</li><li>Develop both technical and financial business cases for the down-selection of competing manufacturing and assembly processes.</li><li>Maintain a direct interface with customers to ensure project success.</li><li>Work cooperatively within an integrated team to deliver exceptional results.</li><li>Execute manufacturing systems simulation, including material flow and facility layout.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A minimum of 10 years of process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering experience required, preferably in the automotive industry.</li><li>Possess strong knowledge of product development in manufacturing, production process, and equipment or machinery.</li><li>Quality experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in robotics, high speed automation, tooling, molding, and fixtures is preferred.</li><li>Experience using ProPlanner and FlexSim software package for manufacturing simulations is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Local and overnight travel to company or customer facilities is required.</li><li>Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and can obtain a Secret Clearance.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Competencies</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Motivated self-starter</li><li>Problem solving capabilities</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent mechanical and technical skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and independently</li><li>Positive can-do attitude&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Benefits Overview</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.</li><li>Comprehensive healthcare, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.</li><li>Paid time off, including vacation and holidays.</li><li>401(k) with company contribution.</li><li>Professional development and training opportunities.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Munro Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
