    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>ektronix is seeking a highly motivated <b>Electrical Engineer Intern</b> to join our <b>Hardware Engineering team</b> through the <b>MECOP Internship Program</b>. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on real-world product development, testing, and validation activities for industry-leading test and measurement solutions.</p>\n<p>The intern will gain exposure to the full hardware development lifecycle while contributing to meaningful engineering projects that support Tektronix’s mission of innovation and technical excellence.</p><b>Key Responsibilities</b>\n<ul>\n <li>Support hardware engineering teams in the <b>design, development, and validation</b> of electronic circuits and systems</li>\n <li>Assist with <b>schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and design documentation</b></li>\n <li>Perform <b>bench testing, debugging, and characterization</b> of electrical circuits using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other lab equipment</li>\n <li>Analyze test data and document results, findings, and recommendations</li>\n <li>Collaborate with <b>cross-functional teams</b> including firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering</li>\n <li>Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives</li>\n <li>Follow established <b>engineering standards, safety practices, and documentation processes</b></li>\n</ul><b>Required Qualifications</b>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently enrolled in a <b>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field</b></li>\n <li>Participation in or eligibility for the <b>MECOP Internship Program</b></li>\n <li>Strong understanding of <b>fundamental electrical engineering principles</b> (analog/digital circuits, basic electronics)</li>\n <li>Familiarity with common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, power supplies)</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret <b>schematics and technical documentation</b></li>\n <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a <b>team-based engineering environment</b></li>\n</ul><b>Preferred Qualifications</b>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with <b>PCB design tools</b> (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, or similar)</li>\n <li>Exposure to <b>embedded systems, power electronics, or signal integrity concepts</b></li>\n <li>Programming or scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, C/C&amp;#43;&amp;#43;)</li>\n <li>Prior internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience in hardware or electronics</li>\n <li>Interest in test and measurement technologies</li>\n</ul><b>What You’ll Gain</b>\n<ul>\n <li>Hands-on experience with <b>real-world hardware engineering projects</b></li>\n <li>Mentorship from experienced Tektronix engineers and leaders</li>\n <li>Exposure to professional engineering workflows and product development cycles</li>\n <li>Opportunity to develop both <b>technical and professional skills</b> in a collaborative environment</li>\n <li>Valuable industry experience through the <b>MECOP program</b></li>\n</ul>",
