          "text": "<p>This position is responsible for providing managerial leadership and direction to the plant facility, including manufacturing and distribution, maximizing capital and human resource utilization to attain acceptable-quality production objectives within established cost parameters. The position is also responsible for managing the plant's people, materials, and assets to produce assigned products according to the production plan and customer requirements. The plant manager drives the facility's lean manufacturing and change management initiatives and implements effective continuous improvement programs that support plant and customer requirements.</p><p><strong><u>Principle Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Provide Effective Leadership to ensure the plant leadership team is continually aligned to accomplish the company's Operational Goals &amp; objectives</li><li>Manage production operations plant start-up and shut-down procedures, production equipment, and alarms</li><li>Meet performance metrics for production operations and shipping schedules</li><li>Balance production objectives with finished goods inventory objectives</li><li>Create production operations that promote customer quality and delivery satisfaction</li><li>Identify and correct production variance from BOM standard</li><li>Achieve financial objectives by assisting in preparing the production budget and scheduling expenditures; compiling and studying costs; initiating corrective actions</li><li>Manage, report, document, and plan production performance, continuous improvement activities, action plans, strategic plans, and employee utilization.</li><li>Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.</li><li>Communicate the plant performance and results to the team. Utilize and update visual communications on the floor</li><li>Maintains staff job results by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; answering grievances; planning, monitoring, and appraising performance results</li><li>Promote employee involvement/engagement.</li><li>Consult with Human Resources regarding hiring, transfer, and discipline of employees as it relates to company policy</li><li>Provide coaching and development to members of the leadership team</li><li>Develop personnel to grow and assume greater responsibilities that fit into a succession plan for future growth</li><li>Ensure thorough production process root cause analysis and complete corrective actions are completed on a timely basis</li><li>Support compliance with the Quality Management System and all other applicable regulations that may apply, including Environment Health &amp; Safety requirements.</li><li>Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements</li><li>Working to continuously improve production operations concerning productivity, quality, safety, and inventory levels to meet customer demand and operating expenses while utilizing lean manufacturing techniques</li><li>Implementing capital projects and training programs to attain volume and productivity goals</li><li>Effective leadership implementing Lean Manufacturing and change management</li><li>Drive and deploy new leadership objectives and standards while providing vision and training to accomplish these objectives</li><li>Evaluate the financial implication of changes made in the operation to achieve maximum profitability</li><li>Empower employees and develop a continuous improvement philosophy throughout the team</li><li>Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations</li><li>Be a resource of Lean information</li><li>Develop standard operation sheets and all applicable forms/flow charts created during the event</li></ul>",
