They will be skilled at recognizing how individual student experiences can illuminate larger patterns, challenges, and opportunities.</p><p> </p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Oversee the College’s Advising Program to support, develop, and enhance the quality of advising across the College </li><li>Report and serve as thought partner to the Dean of Undergraduate Education in providing informed, creative programs for student success</li><li>Coordinate the College’s academic outreach system and work with faculty to coordinate response and support </li><li>Serve as primary success advisor for an assigned cohort of students, including students on academic probation   </li><li>Advise students on violations of the College’s Academic Integrity Policy and attend academic integrity hearings as needed in according with College policy </li><li>Collaborate with Registrar and Dean of Undergraduate Education to support student degree planning, including advising and registration for incoming and transfer students </li><li>Coordinate with College personnel and offices on student success, including The Office of Accessibility, Athletics, Health and Counseling Services, Student Affairs, and Student Financial Services   </li><li>See the value of cultural, ethnic, gender, and other individual differences in people, and help create an environment of learning about valuing, encouraging, and supporting difference </li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred</li><li>Experience: Minimum of 5 years in undergraduate advising; senior advising and/or supervisory experience strongly preferred</li><li>Ability to think analytically, creatively, and sympathetically about complex and evolving needs of a diverse student body</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environment</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office products</li><li>An offer of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a background check</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\"> </p><p style=\"margin-left:0in\">The salary range for this position is $73k-81k.
