    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Facilities Maintenance Technician</span></strong></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Essential Functions</strong> The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facilities and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the Club and department&rsquo;s goals and objectives. Maintenance of entire facility includes, but is not limited to, the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs both basic and advanced building maintenance repairs and upgrades.</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Conducts walk-throughs and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the location, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Perform technical functions including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting, and repairs of club facilities.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to ensure it is in proper working order, following repair.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and club facilities.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Perform plumbing maintenance, electrical, and carpentry functions, as required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Utilize various hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to manager.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Required use of electronic maintenance management system for all work orders.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Required use of energy management system for HVAC and lighting controls.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Available to work on call, receive and perform after-hour service calls when needed.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Job Requirements:</strong> Minimum Qualifications Specific skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include operating equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools, adhering to safety practices, general trouble shooting knowledge, general computer knowledge, handling hazardous materials.</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Must have experience and strong working knowledge of commercial electrical and plumbing systems. &nbsp;</strong></li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must have general knowledge of roofs, building structures, floors, lighting systems, HVAC systems and components, metal fabrication, carpentry, painting, dry wall patch, restaurant equipment repair and maintenance, along with the tools and materials used in building maintenance and repair specialties.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">A good general mechanical ability is essential.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Flexibility is required to work with others in a variety of circumstances; and operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods. Specific abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adapting to changing work priorities; communicating with diverse groups; meeting deadlines and schedules; ability to work on call and receive after hours work assignments; working as part of a team.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Computer knowledge is required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be able to read and interpret retail product labeling.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong> working under direct supervision and independently, using standardized procedures; complete tasks to 100% completion. Report and work directly with other maintenance personnel to achieve the high standards required by the facility and membership. <strong>Working Environment</strong> The usual and customary methods of performing the job&#39;s functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting of up to and exceeding 75 lbs, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 40% walking, and 50% standing.
