The firm supports cross-functional program execution through disciplined governance, technical oversight, risk management, and data-driven decision-making.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>IW Professional Services is committed to delivering scalable, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that help clients navigate evolving operational challenges while advancing reliability, resiliency, and customer-focused outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Senior Land Surveyor</p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid (Must reside in Bay Area) 1-2 days per week in Dublin</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Position:</strong></p>\n<p>Leads a team of field and office Land Surveying personnel, as well as contractors, in providing surveying, mapping, legal descriptions, and technical drawings for the planning, construction, and maintenance of proposed and existing company facilities. Works directly with engineers, planners, construction personnel, project managers, and other business partners to assess project needs. Develops and maintains work plans, schedules, and cost estimates in support of these activities. Provides leadership and direction to Project Surveyors, Chiefs of Party, Land Technicians, and other field and office surveying personnel. Applicants must possess a valid California Professional Land Surveyor license or be a pre-1982 California Registered Civil Engineer.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need. Travel Estimated at 1-2 days out of the work week to report to Dublin, CA office.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Support survey crews working in the field. Establish scope, responsibilities, and performancestandards for specific projects.</li>\n <li>Provide the research required for projects including existing mapping, related land documentation, and liaison with clients.</li>\n <li>Coordinate the resources required to complete mapping and related land documents once the field work has been completed.</li>\n <li>Provide technical expertise and direction to Land Technicians working in office and field environments in the performance of boundary, topographic, plan & profile, settlement and other types of land surveying, mapping and data collection.</li>\n <li>Project Coordination to include acting as a liaison between various sections within Land Services and business partners to ensure timely completion of projects.</li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with legal requirements and PG&E standards for surveying, mapping and land-related documents.</li>\n <li>Establish ongoing dialog with business partners to ensure suitability and satisfaction with Land Engineering products and services.</li>\n <li>Responsible for stamping all legal descriptions and maps per local and state regulations.</li>\n <li>Coordinate the preparation and approval of legal descriptions, maps and exhibits (pink package) required for the condemnation process.</li>\n <li>Establish exact alignment of new facilities with the assistance of Transmission Engineer or Pipeline Engineer, Project Manager, Land Services Staff, environmental experts and construction personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>EDUCATION: BS Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related field (Desired)</li>\n <li>LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Licensed as a California Land Surveyor or pre 1982 California</li>\n <li>Registered Civil Engineer.
