This global family-owned company is currently seeking a <strong><em>Cost Accountant</em></strong>.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BS Degree in Accounting or Related Field;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum Three (3) Years Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing industry;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of standard, weighted average, and actual cost accounting methods and techniques;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with a fully integrated ERP (Microsoft Dynamics a plus),</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">COGNOS Business Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Preferable</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of standard, weighted average, and actual cost accounting methods and techniques;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient level of numerical and analytical aptitude and problem solving techniques with ability to critically think and provide actionable timely solutions;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Confident presentation skills with ability to articulate both verbally and in writing;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Team working mindset with ability to collaborate with a multi-department team;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High level of stress tolerance in a fast-paced environment with ability to organize and prioritize workload;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with work schedule flexibility that will include intermittent travel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Possess near vision, fine manipulation, multiple limb coordination, verbal interaction, and ability to sit for extended periods while performing essential job duties</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform monthly analysis of variances and implement corrective actions;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Investigate cycle count variances and resolve issues;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Validate cost of goods sold as part of the month end close;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform reconciliation of the inventory sub ledger to the general ledger;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversee and manage daily inventory control operations, including monitoring stock levels, transactions, and material movements;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direct and participate in cost analyses, rate studies and analyzing standard manufacturing costs;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direct and participate in all aspects of inventory management, including physical inventory and inventory reconciliations;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direct and participates in identifying weaknesses in existing internal controls and costing system processes that have a direct or indirect effect on inventory and costs and result in improved transactional integrity;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Propose changes in these processes that will result in improved efficiency and financial reporting, transactional and data accuracy;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with operations management to identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with plant operations to ensure the accuracy of standard cost systems;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify key cost drivers that are relevant and will drive profitability; develop reports that are user friendly and communicate their relevance;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain and monitor the roof bit return program;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review production job data, investigate any discrepancies, and close out production jobs.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">*Excellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750; free concierge primary care; voluntary 401k plan currently matching up to 12%; voluntary dental and vision plans; free telemedicine services; basic life, long and short term disability coverage.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">EOE M/F/D/V</p><div><p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\" data-pasted=\"true\">#IND11</span></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
