Our other treatment services include rheumatology care and specialized plastic surgery.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Manager, Orthotics & Prosthetics to join our team in Woodbury, MN.  Must be certified in both orthotics AND prosthetics.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $82,825 annually to $141,980 annually. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Manager of Orthotics & Prosthetics is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the day-to-day activities of assigned staff; assuring provisions of quality orthotic/prosthetic devices are in accordance with Physician's prescription, and to act as a resource to staff, patients, families and the general public regarding assigned areas of responsibility.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for planning, directing and managing the work of the O&P Technician staff, and Department Assistant staff on all day-to-day department operations</li>\n <li>Establishes workflow and communication with Fabrication Center (east and west) for all custom fabrication to endure safety and quality of all devices provided to patients</li>\n <li>Responsible for obtaining and maintaining ABC facility accreditation</li>\n <li>Demonstrates proficiency in OPIE (O&P Business Management Software)</li>\n <li>Functions independently to fulfill the professional responsibilities of a certified Prosthetist and/or Orthotist, including patient confidentiality</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Note: This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor Orthotics and Prosthetics OR  Bachelor's Degree with ABC approved Orthotic and Prosthetic certificate program and the successful completion of NCOPE residencies in both O&P</li>\n <li>American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics</li>\n <li>Minnesota licensure </li>\n <li>American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Card Certification </li>\n <li>Minimum three year of Clinical and technical experience in Orthotics and Prosthetics field</li>\n <li>Five years of experience working in a hospital or medical office with insurance authorization</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Masters in Prosthetics & Orthotics </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
