          "text": "<p><span>Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer</span><br /></p><p>Duration: 18 Months</p><p>Location: Burlington IA</p><p><span><br /></span></p><p><span>The job description is as following:&nbsp;</span><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>The New Product Development Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer will be Responsibilities include participation in concurrent product development and manufacturing engineering activities including, assistance in development of designs from a DFM/DFA perspective, process and methods development and optimization, purchase of tooling and equipment, development of work instructions and labor standards, factory modernization and layout, and implementation and launch related activities of new product.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tThe role will focus on new product designs and implementation of new manufacturing processes and concepts.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tWill act as a technical resource on multi-functional product development teams.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tSome travel may be required but not very infrequent.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tThe role may also require supervisory skills and direction of project team Manufacturing Engineers assigned to the program ensuring that work is being done accurately, completely, and on time.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tThe role will focus on new product designs and implementation of new manufacturing processes and concepts.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tThis position will act as a technical resource on multi-functional product development teams.&nbsp;</p><p>Required qualifications:&nbsp;</p><p>•\tBS in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Related Degree.&nbsp;</p><p>•\t5-10 Years’ experience in Manufacturing or Design Engineering.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tPrevious experience working with Design for Manufacturability/Design for Assembly, and Lean Manufacturing.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tDetailed knowledge of various manufacturing processes such as Fabrication, Welding, Thermal Profiling, Machining.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tAssembly is a plus.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tMust be Goal-Oriented, possess strong written and oral communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.&nbsp;</p><p>•\tProject Management Skills extremely beneficial.&nbsp;</p><p>Education &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</p><p>•\t4 year minimum Engineering or Technology Degree&nbsp;</p><p>o\tMechanical&nbsp;</p><p>o\tAgricultural&nbsp;</p><p>o\tIndustrial&nbsp;</p><p>o\tManufacturing&nbsp;</p><p>Beneficial Knowledge Base and Background:&nbsp;</p><p>• Significant technical knowledge of Fabrication Processes focusing on Thermal Profiling and Brake Press forming:&nbsp;</p><p>o Forming and Bending&nbsp;</p><p>o Punching&nbsp;</p><p>o Thermal Profiling (Laser, Oxy Fuel, Plasma, Fine Plasma)&nbsp;</p><p>o Stamping&nbsp;</p><p>o Sawing&nbsp;</p><p>• Welding and Weld Processing a plus&nbsp;</p><p>• Robotics Experience a plus&nbsp;</p><p>• Machining and Machine Processing including Perishable Tooling a plus&nbsp;</p><p>• Tooling and Fixture Design&nbsp;</p><p>• Inspection equipment and techniques&nbsp;</p><p>• CNC Programming&nbsp;</p><p>• ISO Familiarization&nbsp;</p><p>• Advanced Quality Techniques&nbsp;</p><p>• Statistical Process Control (SPC)&nbsp;</p><p>• Process Capability Assessments&nbsp;</p><p>• Time and motion study (Maynard MOST)&nbsp;</p><p>• Ergonomics &amp; Safety understanding&nbsp;</p><p>• Project Management Experience&nbsp;</p><p>• Any Computer/CAD/CAM skills:&nbsp;</p><p>o Pro-E abilities&nbsp;</p><p>o Pro-Planner/Assembly Planner&nbsp;</p><p>o Team Center&nbsp;</p><p>o Vis-Mockup&nbsp;</p><p>o Product View&nbsp;</p><p>o AutoCad abilities&nbsp;</p><p>• Computer and Database skills very important.
