As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with EDC, you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical application of their engineering discipline, and a strong understanding of the other disciplines offered by the company while also leading and managing the full Electrical Design on projects of all sizes.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver Electrical Engineering design packages across all project stages, ensuring outputs are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements and relevant standards.</li>\n<li>Undertake Electrical design work as required, contributing technical input from concept through to construction.</li>\n<li>Take responsibility for the delivery of defined engineering packages, ensuring quality, adherence to programme, and coordination with other disciplines.</li>\n<li>Coordinate design activities within project teams, working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to support overall project delivery.</li>\n<li>Apply sound engineering judgement to resolve technical challenges of moderate complexity within assigned scope.</li>\n<li>Identify and communicate technical risks and issues to the project lead, supporting their resolution.</li>\n<li>Maintain quality control of own work and contribute to consistency across project outputs.</li>\n<li>Provide guidance and day-to-day support to junior engineers, assisting in their technical development.</li>\n<li>Support the planning and organisation of work within their area of responsibility, with the opportunity to develop experience in broader project planning and coordination.</li>\n<li>Assist BIM and modelling teams in producing coordinated 3D models and detailed engineering drawings.</li>\n<li>Attend design meetings, workshops, and site visits as required.</li>\n<li>Engage with clients and stakeholders as required, communicating clearly on technical matters.</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with internal teams and across disciplines to support coordinated project delivery.</li>\n<li>Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and processes where required.</li>\n<li>Maintain and promote the professional reputation of EDC in all interactions.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with colleagues across EDC offices where appropriate to support project delivery.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate a willingness to continue developing technical capability and broader project understanding in line with career progression.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Follow EDC’s Environmental Management System (EMS), including all related policies, procedures, and training.</p>\n<p>Perform duties in a manner that supports the company’s environmental objectives and sustainability commitments.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Work-from-home arrangements to be agreed with the line manager, with an expectation of three days in the office and flexibility to balance business and personal needs.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 95, 134); font-size: 18pt\">EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE<br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Degree level in Electrical Engineering</li>\n<li>6+ years Building Services Consultancy Design experience.</li>\n<li>Proven experience in delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.</li>\n<li>Expert user of Amtech, Relux/Dialux.</li>\n<li>BIM experience will be advantageous.</li>\n<li>Chartership Desirable.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 95, 134); font-size: 18pt\">KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical application of their engineering discipline, and a strong understanding of the other disciplines offered by the company.</li>\n<li>Expert knowledge and experience in the following Electrical design areas: Lighting &amp; Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire alarms, CCTV &amp; Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment and BMS.</li>\n<li>Excel at working on several projects simultaneously and show the ability to prioritise and plan work.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate a good understanding of other building disciplines in the design and installation of buildings.</li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to lead projects internally and externally and be responsible for project performances, including satisfied clients, profitable projects, and maintaining EDC’s reputation to enable repeat work.</li>\n<li>Exhibit leadership qualities while working as part of a team.</li>\n<li>Ability to make prompt, disciplined project decisions.</li>\n<li>Commercial Awareness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 95, 134);
