The School of Natural Resources and the Environment at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for Temporary Wild Turkey Field Technician. We are seeking to hire a field technician to assist graduate students with research on wild turkey ecology and management. The field technician will assist with monitoring turkey survival/nesting and collecting associated environmental data. The technician will also help with data entry/organization, and equipment upkeep. This position will work closely with individuals from WVU and the WV Division of Natural Resources.
What You%27ll Do
Monitoring turkey survival and nesting: 75% of time Collecting environmental data: 10% of time Data entry and organization: 10% of time Equipment upkeep: 5% of time Pay Grade: 10
Length of Assignment: 5 Months
