Our mission is to provide decision makers with rigorous and timely insights that enable our clients to improve public well-being.&nbsp;</p><p>The Digital Accessibility Specialist will provide oversight, technical support, coordination, support, and testing based on established accessibility standards and protocols for digital content and tools -- &nbsp; websites, documents, software applications, with the collective goal of achieving accessibility for all. &nbsp;</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Responsible for identifying and suggesting potential solutions to deliver accessible websites, applications, and content on platforms based on the W3C WCAG standards and Mobile Web Best Practices.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform accessibility tests and audits of websites, documents, software, and web applications.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work with colleagues to refine accessibility testing templates, protocols, and tools.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provide technical support to clients to implement modifications to digital products.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend assistive software and hardware to clients.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Contribute to research literature, practice guides, and instructional materials on accessibility and best practices.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Collaborate with research staff and accessibility subject matter experts in refining testing protocols, training guides, and standard operating procedures.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Manage pool of accessibility testers and closely monitor quality assurance.</p><p>Education &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Sciences or Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of compliance with the ADA, Section 508, Twenty First Century Communication and Video Accessibility Act (CCVA) and other accessibility related law(s)</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience of providing the UXDesign level accessibility recommendations and reviews, preferred.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge and experience with web technologies and/or web content management systems.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 accessibility standards and guidelines, accessibility audit and quality assurance tools and processes.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience using common assistive technologies including screen readers magnifiers and voice recognition products.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience conducting accessibility testing on multiple platforms and browsers including iOS and Android mobile devices.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with Job Access With Speech (JAWS) and NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA).&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Certified Trusted Tester v5, strongly recommended.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>To Apply:</strong></p><p>If you meet the requirements and qualifications listed above, submit cover letter and resume using the portal referenced here: <a href=\"https://optimalsolutionsgroup.com/careers/\" target=\"_blank\">https://optimalsolutionsgroup.com/careers/</a>.</p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
