K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>This is a pro-bono volunteer position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>JerseySTEM provides free after school STEM classes to underserved middle school girls grade 5-8</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>JerseySTEM is seeking a dedicated and skilled <strong>Robotics Team Lead</strong> to oversee and guide our robotics initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls, fostering their interest and skills in robotics and technology.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with Program Design Team Lead and Community Engagement Team Lead to define overall goal of the designated course</li>\n <li>Manage and support a team comprising of Curriculum Designers to:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Research existing curricula</li>\n  <li>Curate existing material and develop new material</li>\n  <li>Develop Google Classroom Material in 10 lessons</li>\n  <li>Produce both Teacher and Student material</li>\n  <li>Organize and document “Train the Trainer” sessions</li>\n  <li>Deliver the training to the Program Instructors</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Attend a weekly team call for collaboration (TBD)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in robotics design, programming, and electronics.</li>\n <li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li>\n <li>Experience working with middle school students or youth robotics programs.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li>\n <li>Problem-solving mindset and creativity in designing robotics projects.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of STEM education principles and hands-on learning methods.</li>\n <li>Comfortable using relevant software and hardware tools for robotics.</li>\n <li>Collaborative and adaptable approach to teamwork.</li>\n <li>Passion for promoting STEM education and gender equity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
