This position demands a deep understanding of business processes, staffing, productivity, and labor hours. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager.</p><p style=\"margin-left:13.5pt;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 39.5px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily manufacturing operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead by example, fostering a culture of safety and promoting a Safety-First mindset across all operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Employ lean manufacturing tools, methods, and techniques as part of the HBD Business System to drive efficiency and productivity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Actively engage with teams on the production floor to identify and implement sustainable improvements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Facilitate kaizen events and operational improvement sessions to enhance site performance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with cross-functional teams to manage and execute multiple projects effectively, even in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implement programs targeting cost reduction, quality enhancement, and productivity improvements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure accurate factory execution based on ERP scheduling.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop employees by providing growth opportunities and unlocking their potential.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive continuous improvement strategies to ensure measurable and lasting outcomes.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:13.5pt;\"><strong>Required Experience and Education</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 39.5px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3-5 years in a leadership or management role.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven success in leading lean initiatives and utilizing structured problem-solving approaches.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:13.5pt;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 39.5px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in aerospace industry.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with Continuous Improvement Projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Forge experience.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:13.5pt;\"><strong>Technical Expertise</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 39.5px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong data analytics skills with the ability to interpret business and operational metrics accurately.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effective written and verbal communication skills, including work-related instruction.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience identifying safety risks and implementing cost-efficient solutions.</li></ul></div><p>&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">HBD Industries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
