    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The Operations Director assists the Lead Pastor in providing leadership and overall direction of the church staff, leading all functional areas in the accomplishment of the church’s mission at the Midway location.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Duties</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide organizational leadership of day-to-day operations, strategy, and implementation </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">of the church vision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">Support the ministry staff in the establishment and ongoing direction of ministries that </span><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">effectively grow the church.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">Ensure the operational readiness of the church through leadership and oversight of the </span><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">support staff.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Facilitate the annual strategic planning process including evaluation of ministry </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">performance; review of mission &amp; vision; development of key objectives and tactics; and </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">establishment of three-year goals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">Establish and maintain a set of key performance measures (KPMs) that provide the Lead </span><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">Pastor and church staff with ongoing visibility of the effectiveness of all functional areas of </span><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">the church. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">Develop annual financial plans that fund the accomplishment of the strategic plan and </span><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">meet critical financial objectives.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">Champion the development of infrastructure by all ministries and support areas that </span><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">strengthen the healthy, long-term growth of the church.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">Oversee church facilities including capital fundraising campaigns, master planning, design </span><span style=\"color: rgb(40, 50, 55); font-size: 12pt\">and architecture, contractor selection, and construction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Oversight and delegation of special projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Start-up or development of some ministries and general support for all ministries.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(29, 29, 29); font-size: 12pt\">Assess the current needs of the congregation and opportunities for growing the church </span><span style=\"color: rgb(29, 29, 29); font-size: 12pt\">and work with the pastors and other leaders to develop appropriate ministry initiatives.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(29, 29, 29); font-size: 12pt\">Perform other ministry duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills/Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A spiritually mature Christian in full agreement with New Life’s statement of faith.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong desire to serve Christ and His church.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">7-10 years of ministry and business leadership experience in a large (1000+) church </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">setting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent organizational, analytical, financial, and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. Demonstrated success at recruiting </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">and leading volunteer teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proven ability to meet deadlines, develop and implement program policies and </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">procedures, and manage changing and competing priorities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills. Highly relational and able to manage </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">people with different personalities, skill sets, and backgrounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A strong collaborator, coordinator, and an implementer. Demonstrates tact, discretion, </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.</span></li>\n</ul>",
