We take pride in being a place employees want to work, as well as eagerly pursue quality outcomes for patients and families alike.</p><p><strong>How you’ll contribute:</strong></p><p>A<strong> Lead Therapist&nbsp;</strong>who excels in this role:</p><ul><li>Monitors patients for safety. Reports suspicion of drug use or other safety concerns immediately to program manager. Conducts drug screens as necessary with the assistance of the outpatient nurse.</li><li>&nbsp;Conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance use problems. Demonstrates the ability to actively engage patients in a group setting, fostering group discussions and leading the group in a therapeutic manner.</li><li>Actively participates in creating and revising the group programming schedule. Offers tools and resources to conduct group therapy.</li><li>Oversees the appropriateness and timeliness of patient discharge, transition, and after-care plans.</li><li>Uses evaluative techniques to develop and implements therapeutic treatment.</li><li>Provides family session counseling to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.</li><li>Displays heavy involvement in treatment planning for patients. Works with patient to achieve treatment plan goals and accurately documents progress. Demonstrates initiative to revise the treatment plan to create new goals for patients if appropriate.</li><li>Ongoing and consistent collaboration with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members. Must have strong clinical skills.</li><li><strong>License:</strong> Current unencumbered clinical licensure in the state applicable to the facility.
