The Bachelor of Social Work Program at Chestnut Hill College provides a student-centered collaborative learning environment to educate students how to be ethical and competent social work practitioners in a diverse global world, and is welcoming students in Fall 2026. &nbsp;</p><p>The <strong>Center for Education, Advocacy, and Social Justice</strong> currently offers undergraduate degree programs in:</p><ul><li>Early Education (PreK-4)</li><li>Early Education (Special Education PK-12)</li><li>Early Education Dual PreK-4 with Special Education PK-12)</li><li>Montessori (AMS Affiliated and MACTE Accredited)</li><li>Criminal Justice</li><li>Pre-law &amp; Legal Studies</li></ul><p>The position i<strong>s a 12-month, fulltime, non-tenure track, renewable position</strong> that reports to the <strong>Bachelor of Social Work Program Director.</strong> &nbsp;</p><p><strong>About Chestnut Hill College</strong><br>Founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1924, Chestnut Hill College is an independent, Catholic institution rooted in a strong liberal arts tradition that fosters equality through holistic education. Located in the charming Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia, it serves a culturally diverse student body.</p><p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Masters of Social Work (MSW) or Doctorate in Social Work (DSW).</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years post-MSW professional social work experience.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of CSWE field education standards and social work ethics.</li><li>Prior experience in social work field education (<em>e.g.,</em> field instructor, field liaison, or field director).</li><li>Familiarity with diverse student populations and a commitment to inclusive education.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Classroom teaching experience at a college or university is required and hybrid/online teaching experience is preferred (<em>please include a list of classes taught</em>). &nbsp;Candidate should be able to provide evidence of effective college-level teaching (<em>i.e.,</em> student and/or performance evaluations)</li><li>Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Administrative experience managing curricula, cultivating and maintaining site relationships and placements, scheduling, advising students, working with CSWE standards and accreditation, and collaborating with faculty colleagues is required</li><li>Evidence of peer reviewed publications and national conference presentations or strong potential for publication is a plus.</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the College&rsquo;s Mission and Core Values, including a shared dedication to inclusive, mission-driven education that supports the development of the whole person.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Teaching/administration, scholarship, and service to the College, to the profession, and to the community.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and evaluate field education placements in alignment with CSWE accreditation standards.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison between the social work program, students, and community agencies, inclusive of the administrative responsibilities required to support the fieldwork program.</li><li>Provide orientation, training, and ongoing support for field instructors and agency partners.</li><li>Advise and support BSW students throughout the field placement process, including placement matching and resolution of field-related concerns.</li><li>Teach field-related courses (e.g., field seminar).</li><li>Participate in program assessment, curriculum development, and CSWE reaffirmation activities.</li><li>Work with students from the BSW Student Advisory Council on issues related to fieldwork placements</li><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation of all field-related activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Interested candidates&nbsp;</strong>should submit a complete application package that includes a cover letter addressing qualifications and interest in the position, a current curriculum vitae (CV), a teaching philosophy statement, a list of courses previously taught at the higher education level, and the names and contact information for three professional references.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Application materials&nbsp;</strong>should be submitted electronically through the College&rsquo;s employment portal via &nbsp;<a href=\"https://workforcenow.adp.com/mascsr/default/mdf/recruitment/recruitment.html?cid=5db18de3-3e94-4cd7-92de-745bcad7c3e4&ccId=19000101_000001&type=JS&lang=en_US\">ADP Workforce Now HERE</a>.
