Grow with us, H2O&#43;U.</p><p><strong>Your Opportunity</strong> </p><p>We are currently seeking a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to join the team in our Burnaby, BC office. The successful candidate must be available to work on-site at the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant. </p><p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><p>Technical Leadership</p><ul><li>Lead and/or participate in meetings with client Operations &amp; Maintenance staff to identify and implement design optimization initiatives. </li><li>Coordinate work within a multidiscipline, multi-office, team environment requiring exceptional communication and organizational skills.  </li><li>Participate in typical design meetings including: scope, engineering, design, specifications, PFD/P&amp;ID drawings, line list, tie-in list, equipment lists, controls, and HAZOP </li><li>Coordinate the preparation, review, and approval of engineering design deliverables, Provide support to Commissioning, Start Up and turnover activities</li><li>Coordinate design deliverables among various technical disciplines for a major water or wastewater project. </li></ul><p>Construction Support</p><ul><li>Liaise with the construction contractor, design consultants, and client’s technical staff </li><li>Facilitate resolution of Contractor/Engineer/Owner issues related to quality and interpretation of design documents</li><li>Understand, communicate, and uphold contract requirements for construction, equipment/materials transfer of care and custody, etc</li><li>Lead and participate in periodic project status meetings with the client, design consultants, and construction contractors. Mentor junior engineers</li></ul><p>Quality &amp; Client Service</p><ul><li>Review deliverables from a variety of consultants and communicate findings to the client. </li><li>Understand and interpret client expectations, standards and specifications. </li><li>Collaborate with the Owner’s team to implement and improve processes and workflows</li><li>Perform work in accordance with Stantec and client quality programs, as well as applicable codes and standards of the jurisdiction.  </li><li>Perform quality assurance function for work deliverables before they are submitted to Client.  </li><li>Monitor client satisfaction for work completed.  </li></ul></div><p><br /> <br /> </p></div>",
