We’re looking for experienced and passionate critical care nurses and nurse leaders who are ready to join a team that’s redefining quality nursing care. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies training needs and participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within an assigned area of responsibility.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates expertise in the roles of teacher, practitioner, manager, and researcher.</li>\n <li>Provides input into the development of the departmental budget.</li>\n <li>Acts as an educational consultant to nursing staff.</li>\n <li>Develops and delivers training content.</li>\n <li>Assist in development and in the production of educational packets.</li>\n <li>Handles logistics for training seminars by establishing program agendas, arranging for facilities and refreshments, and scheduling speakers.</li>\n <li>Serves as a preceptor in the development of nurse teachers and/or nurse managers.</li>\n <li>Develops methods and materials to communicate the availability of training programs.</li>\n <li>Maintains course participation records.</li>\n <li>Develops and conducts training courses by determining and using the most appropriate methods for adult learning.</li>\n <li>Performs related responsibilities as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.</li>\n <li>Four years of nursing experience which includes one year of teaching experience.</li>\n <li>BLS certification required, ASCL preferred.</li>\n <li>Masters degree required.</li>\n <li>MSN in Nursing Education preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!</strong> Emory Healthcare (EHC), part of Emory University (EUV), is the most comprehensive academic health system in Georgia and the first and only in Georgia with a Magnet® designated ambulatory practice.
