Job Summary<br><br>The Shredding Specialist Lead is responsible for receiving, segregating and loading wastepaper into a paper shredder as well as various traditional warehouse support duties. The Lead Shredding Specialist is a member of the local operations team who coordinates the parking of all trucks in preparation for the next day. The Lead Shredding Specialist must be a team player and contribute to a safe and harmonious work environment as a leader and an expert in their field.<br><br>II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities<br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Performs diagnostic evaluation on equipment and make repairs when needed. Ensures that repairs are performed safely, properly and in the shortest amount of time possible to maintain the highest level of operational readiness.</li><li>Oversees workflow and sets priorities within the maintenance shop. Plan and schedule all in-house repairs. Lead maintenance team and oversee outside contractors making repairs to the facility.</li><li>Safely performs or guides preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a daily basis on a variety of machinery within the plant. This machinery includes:</li><li>Fire tube boiler and ancillary equipment, steam delivery systems, water softeners and other water treatment equipment, air handling equipment, commercial washers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems.</li><li>Incinerator process equipment/systems maintenance, including burners, CEMs , high temperature refractory, controls, PLC, combustion air blowers, pressure controls and conveyance systems.</li><li>Steam turbine and electrical generator systems.</li><li>Air pollution control devices, to include bag houses, evaporative coolers, acid absorbers, and carbon beds.</li><li>General air pneumatics, including air compressor, regulators, solenoid valves, 2-way and 3-way valve, tubing installation, pneumatic pumps and related systems.</li><li>Performs light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment to include 480V/240V/120V/24V powers systems.</li><li>Documents result through completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required.</li><li>Provide training, direction and assist Technicians, Operators, and Laborers as needed.</li><li>Vigorously support WMHS’s commitment to Safety by complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.</li><li>Performs other related duties as required or requested.</li></ul><p><br>III.
