As the Admissions Department Leader, you will be responsible for providing direction, implementing strategic plans, and ensuring operation of our admissions and intake processes. Your strong leadership skills, ability to cultivate collaboration, and commitment to quality management will be key in the success of the department. We are a renowned healthcare facility committed to providing exceptional mental health services to our community and as the leader of Intake and Admissions, you make a real difference in the lives of our patients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Coastal Pines will be a modern, purpose-built facility and a cornerstone of behavioral health care in Northeast Florida, designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality psychiatric services in the region.  The 144-bed behavioral health hospital, located in St. Johns, will offer a full continuum of services including inpatient psychiatric care, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<p>Our leaders are equipped with the tools, support, and benefits they need to thrive:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation package including performance-based incentives</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance</li>\n <li>401(k) plan with company match through Acadia Healthcare</li>\n <li>Equity/stock-based incentive awards for long-term financial growth</li>\n <li>Generous paid time off including vacation, holidays, and sick days</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you're ready to lead with purpose and drive lasting impact in the behavioral health space, we invite you to consider joining us at Coastal Pines Behavioral Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide leadership to the Admissions Department and cultivate the function of the department as an integrated team.</li>\n <li>Implement the strategic plan of the business development and marketing department as it pertains to admission to the facility and direct potential clients to treatment.</li>\n <li>Provide leadership in addressing quality management issues related to crisis triage, evaluation, intake, and admission to the facility.</li>\n <li>Assign/distribute scheduled evaluations, intakes, or admissions as dictated by request and hospital census.</li>\n <li>Conduct quality assurance and quality improvement programs for all crisis triage, evaluation, intake, and admission services.</li>\n <li>Perform follow-up communication functions and generate recommendations for organization leadership.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement program policies and procedures that guide the provision of services.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the hiring decisions for Admissions Department personnel, providing orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs for department staff and other internal positions responsible for crisis triage and/or evaluation services.</li>\n <li>Serve as a clinical liaison with referral sources.</li>\n <li>Work to improve efficiency and quality in delivering services within the department, responsible for developing and meeting departmental goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the department is up to date on and compliant with new laws and regulations.</li>\n <li>Recruit, train, and supervise staff.</li>\n <li>Manage the finances of the department, and prepare and monitor budgets and spending to ensure the department operates within allocated funds.</li>\n <li>Determine and implement admissions best practices, promote the hospital, and maintain a satisfied patient base.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s Degree in Human Services Field or RN nursing license required.</li>\n <li>Three plus years’ experience in healthcare-related admissions preferred.</li>\n <li><strong>Three years of work experience as a Director of Admissions</strong> in a Behavioral health facility preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>May require licensure by the state for this position.</li>\n <li>CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).</li>\n <li>First aid may be required based on state or facility.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<p>                                                                                                                                                      </p>\n<p><strong><em>While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties from particular jobs when circumstances (e.g. emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technological developments) dictate.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>AHGROW</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-CPBH</p>\n<p> </p>",
