This seasonal opportunity is perfect for individuals who want to grow mechanical skills, contribute to a meaningful mission, and be part of something wild.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Fleet Maintenance Assistant supports the Fleet Mechanic in maintaining the organization's vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and cleanliness. This hands-on role involves a variety of tasks ranging from mechanical support to administrative documentation and stakeholder communication.</p>\n<h4><strong>Maintenance & Mechanical Support</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes, tire rotation/mounting/balancing, and vehicle detailing.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular inspections to uphold safety standards and mechanical integrity.</li>\n <li>Refuel vehicles and equipment across property grounds.</li>\n <li>Perform general cleaning and detailing of fleet vehicles and work areas.</li>\n <li>Operate and drive vehicles and equipment on and off property as needed.</li>\n <li>Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Fleet Mechanic or supervisor.</li>\n <li>Adapt to schedule changes based on operational and departmental needs, including potential weekend shifts.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Documentation & Reporting</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete and submit inspection reports accurately and promptly.</li>\n <li>Document maintenance activities, diagnostics, and future service recommendations using FMX software.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Communication & Collaboration</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding vehicle status and maintenance needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Two years related experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with good driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills & Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to operate and maintain mechanical equipment safely.</li>\n <li>Able to perform heavy physical work for extended periods of time.</li>\n <li>Able to climb ladders, work at heights up to 100 feet, and/or in enclosed spaces.</li>\n <li>Able to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, rain.)</li>\n <li>Able to balance multiple assignments successfully.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Guest Service & Professionalism</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to provide excellent guest service by positively interacting with guests and upholding the guest service standards required.</li>\n <li>Able to maintain courteous and helpful behavior towards guests and fellow team members.</li>\n <li>Able to maintain appropriate employee appearance, per the employee handbook.</li>\n <li>Able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Employment Conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position is seasonal and not eligible for overtime pay.</li>\n <li>Subject to Drug Free Workplace Policy.</li>\n <li>Subject to Criminal Background check.</li>\n <li>Subject to BMV check.</li>\n</ul>",
