Supervises and performs a range of tasks required for industrial service operations to include but not limited to, tank cleaning, pipeline maintenance, manual remediation services, waste bulking, and/or demolition services, in accordance with established company policies and procedures. This position will also respond to emergency response calls with limited notice with a team of technicians and have the opportunity to make a difference in environmental compliance.</p><p><strong>MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD</strong></p><p><strong>This position requires 40-50% overnight travel, a high degree of flexibility,<br>and 2 plus years in hazardous clean up.</strong></p><p><strong>FIELD SUPERVISOR | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><ul><li>Maintain safety standards and requirements at all times for entire crew.</li><li>Ability to operate skid steer, mini-excavator, etc. heavy equipment.</li><li>Perform general labor tasks including but not limited to manual digging, site preparation, site clean-up, operation of hand tools, light machinery and sharp tools.</li><li>Load hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned job onto truck.</li><li>Assist in the operation of equipment or power tools.</li><li>Clean-up work area and equipment after work is completed.</li><li>Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area.</li><li>Complete all appropriate paperwork including services receipts, job logs, time records, maintenance reports.</li><li>Able to work in confined spaces wearing full or half face respirator.</li><li>After completing on the job training your duties may include vacuum truck operation, hydro blasting, ice blasting and tank cleaning.</li><li>After completing on the job training your duties may include operation of extremely high pressured water blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc).</li><li>Safely perform manual labor.</li><li>Travel up to 50% via driving a company vehicle.</li></ul><p><strong>FIELD SUPERVISOR | COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments.</li><li>Must demonstrate general knowledge of operations and ability to safely operate assigned equipment.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Ability to operate skid steer, mini-excavator, etc. heavy equipment.</li><li>Able to wear full and half face respirator.</li><li>Able to meet DOT physical requirements.</li><li>This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of HAZWOPER and OSHA regulations and requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>FIELD SUPERVISOR | REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>VALID DRIVER&#39;S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED.</li><li>Two (2) years supervisory experience for team of 2- 4 technicians required.</li><li>One (1) year heavy equipment operating experience required.</li><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li></ul><p><strong>FIELD SUPERVISOR | PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Class A CDL with tanker and airbrake endorsements strongly preferred.</li><li>40-hour HAZWOPER certified strongly preferred.</li><li>CPR/First Aid qualified preferred.</li><li>One (1) year Job costing experience preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>OTHER DUTIES:</strong></p><ul><li>May include handling waste for remediation, sampling, packaging and labeling various wastes.</li><li>Perform industrial maintenance.</li><li>Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization&#39;s goals.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><p>Work is performed mostly in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures for long periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas. Work in diverse environments such as confined spaces, various heights, and storage tanks. Work outdoors in all weather conditions; extreme heat, cold, dry or wet environment.</p><p>While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
