    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p><strong>Digger Bay Attendant</strong></p><p><strong>Position Prerequisites:</strong></p><ul><li>High school graduate preferred.</li><li>Cashier experience.</li><li>Excellent customer service.</li><li>Knowledge of resort.</li><li>Ability to work with guests in all areas, with a positive approach.</li><li>Ability to concentrate on detail and follow-up work while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.</li><li>Ability to work as a team.</li></ul><p><strong>Purpose:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;Service customers retail, small boat, fuel, and pump-out needs and ensure safe practices are followed. Receive funds for goods and services and record transactions via cash register.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Major Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Greet all customers as they enter your work area. Offer assistance immediately. Thank all customers as they leave the work area.</li><li>It is all attendants&rsquo; responsibility to maintain a working knowledge of merchandise, boats, and services available.</li><li>Accept cash or credit for payment, return proper change, and documentation of transaction.</li><li>Complete credit card transactions and ring these sales accordingly in register.</li><li>Orient customer on how to actually drive and operate the boat.</li><li>Pre-check of boats and equipment. Responsible for initial inventory verification on the boat.</li><li>Clean the boats and prepare for next rental.</li><li>Provide guests with lake and resort information.</li><li>Required to handle propane. Be knowledgeable in the handling of propane.</li><li>Provide fuel and sewage pump-outs services.</li><li>Turn on fuel lines and inspect daily. Complete the &ldquo;6000 gal. fuel system daily inspection from&rdquo;.</li><li>Complete dye testing weekly.</li><li>Know what the terms &ldquo;lighting&rdquo; and &ldquo;relighting&rdquo; mean and the way to perform these activities safely and properly.</li><li>Monitor traffic of watercrafts at fuel area to ensure that boats are parked properly to provide safe mobility in marina area.</li><li>Safely handle chemicals and fuel products to prevent potential hazards. Ensure customers observe safety precautions when refueling boats.</li><li>Conduct accurate fuel readings both opening and closing. Know how to stick fuel tanks properly and calculate usage daily.</li><li>Ensure garbage from boats and work area is properly disposed of and clean garbage receptacles.</li><li>Maintain overall cleanliness of the marina. Clean the retail area and marina bathrooms daily.</li><li>Maintain sanitation of cashiers booth and stocking of supplies.</li><li>Complete minor maintenance tasks as necessary. Non-electrical, non-plumbing tasks.</li><li>Complete fire extinguisher inspection monthly.</li><li>Report medical emergencies.</li><li>Always operate with an emphasis on guest hospitality.</li><li>Use a &ldquo;clean as you go&rdquo; method when performing your work duties.</li><li>Operate equipment with energy conservation in mind.</li><li>Adhere to safety policies.</li><li>Be present at all departmental, resort and training meetings.</li><li>Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (both within the department and in other resort departments).</li><li>Maintain a positive attitude toward the resort and the job being performed.</li></ul><p><strong>General:</strong></p><ul><li>Be aware of daily activities and events at the resort.</li><li>Be knowledgeable of all resort operations.</li><li>Perform all reasonable job requests assigned by General Manager.</li><li>Material handling: stooping, bending, lifting an average of 30 pounds will be part of some job requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Notice:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Digger Bay Marina functions seven days per week, 365 days per year.
