Job Summary</u></strong><br><span>Under moderate supervision and working closely with Transfer Station management, the Field Support Lead is responsible for quality control inspections on third-party sub-contractors and safety observations of customers using WM facilities, including the planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to facility improvement, facility inspections, housekeeping inspections, environmental inspections, and safety inspections.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>This role is integral in ensuring facility inspections, observations on heavy equipment operators and CDL drivers. &nbsp;This position requires frequent/local travel using a WM-issued vehicle throughout the Atlanta metro area and overnight once a month throughout the South Atlantic area (Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina).</span><br><br><strong><u>II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><span>Performs safety observations at transfer stations operated by third-party partners</span></li><li><span>Help conduct safety meetings with WM Employee</span></li><li><span>Complete assigned inspections and assessments</span></li><li><span>Perform pre-EH&amp;S Audits</span></li><li><span>Meet vendors/contractors for upcoming/ongoing projects</span></li><li><span>Lead and inspect third-party improvement projects</span></li><li><span>Provide training and validation certificates to WM Heavy Equipment Operators</span></li><li><span>New Hire Onboarding and Training</span></li><li><span>Perform lower-level site modifications</span></li><li><span>Use hand tools to perform facility maintenance</span></li><li><span>May fill in for Scalehouse Attendant or Heavy Equipment Operators when necessary</span></li><li><p><span>Other duties as assigned</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>III.&nbsp;Qualifications</u></strong><br><span>The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.</span><br><br><u>A. Education and Experience</u><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Education:&nbsp;<span>High School Diploma&nbsp;</span>or GED (accredited) required.</li><li><p>Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><div><u>B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements</u></div><div><ul><li>Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class C upon hire required.</li><li><span>Training Certification within 1 year preferred.</span></li><li><span>WM Heavy Equipment Operator Certification within 1 year preferred.</span></li><li><span>Scale Operation Certification within 1 year preferred.</span></li><li><span>Fast Lane Certification within 1 year.</span></li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><p><strong><u>IV.
