    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong>:</p><p>Under minimal supervision, facilitates operational development, employee development, and orientation programs, and provides comprehensive on-the-job training to new hires and existing team members. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills committed to fostering a continuous learning and development culture. Supports training at all retail/donated goods facilities as required. Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training. Will be involved in course design and existing course enhancements.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>1. Conduct on-the-job training sessions for new hires and existing team members, focusing on critical aspects of Goodwill&#39;s retail and production operations, including customer service, merchandising, inventory management, production processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.</p><p>2. Provide hands-on coaching and support to team members, guiding them through tasks and processes to ensure understanding and proficiency.</p><p>3. Ensures trainee completes all mandated training modules and competencies (e.g., Orientation, OSHA and safety requirements, ethical and behavior modules, and job-related tasks in the approved time frame).</p><p>4. In the absence of a trainee, perform essential roles assigned for operational success.&nbsp;</p><p>5. Collaborate with site leadership to identify training needs, develop plans, and implement targeted solutions.</p><p>6. Ability to attend all required meetings related to training and development.&nbsp;</p><p>7. Adapt training techniques and methodologies to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate different learning styles.</p><p>8. Administer competency assessments and evaluations to gauge trainees&#39; progress and proficiency in critical areas.</p><p>9. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where team members feel supported, motivated, and empowered to succeed.</p><p>10. Responsible for facilitating associate development and orientation programs.&nbsp;</p><p>11. Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned development program(s), including all non-classroom items such as pre-work and post-work, coaching employees during and outside of the classroom on assignments, and tracking completion of course objectives and assignments.</p><p>12. Responsible for assisting with designing, developing, and delivering assigned training curriculum and programs.</p><p>13. Responsible for sustaining the learning of all participants by providing regular and consistent updates on content, materials, and other relevant information once they&#39;ve completed the program(s).</p><p>14. Understand and monitor metrics to identify key business effectiveness, potential issues, results, and ROI of all development and orientation site programs. Provides reports to leadership on relevant trends as requested.</p><p>15. Ensure that training is up-to-date on the evolving needs and changes within the DGR.</p><p>16. Responsible for cross-training to teach all programs/courses and orientation. Facilitates cross-training with other Talent Programs specialists as needed.</p><p>17. Acts as an internal consultant on training issues within all leadership development programs.</p><p>18. Maintains open availability to provide flexible training support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</p><p>19. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed or assigned by management to support operational success and team development.</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:</strong></p><p>* High school diploma/GED or equivalent; additional job-related experience demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively perform the position&#39;s essential functions.</p><p>* Prior experience in training, coaching, or mentoring, particularly in a retail or production environment, is preferred but not required.</p><p>* Strong communication skills, including effectively conveying information and providing constructive feedback.</p><p>* Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>* Passion for learning and development, genuinely wanting to help others succeed and grow professionally.</p><p>* Understanding of metrics and data analysis.</p><p>* Knowledge of standard office equipment and business applications.</p><p>* Basic understanding of PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and development software.</p><p>* Ability to conduct training for all sites, both in-person and virtually.</p><p>* Must have high initiative and be able to work to deadlines, manage multiple projects, and maintain confidentiality.</p><p>* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate training needs.</p><p>* Must be willing and able to travel to any location upon request.</p><p>* Must have a valid GA driver s license, valid insurance, ability to be insured under the company s vehicle insurance policy. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
