Our rich diversity of people and ideas makes us a stronger, more innovative organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The Fleet Upfitter is responsible for installing, modifying, and customizing vehicles in a company’s fleet to meet specific operational requirements. This role involves mechanical, electrical, and fabrication work including installation of toolboxes, shelving, lighting, GPS systems, safety equipment, and other accessories.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, assemble, and modify equipment and accessories in fleet vehicles (e.g., lighting, ladder racks, shelving, decals, electronics).</li>\n <li>Interpret work orders, diagrams, and manufacturer instructions to perform accurate installations.</li>\n <li>Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.</li>\n <li>Perform inspections and quality control to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records of installations and services performed.</li>\n <li>Communicate with team members, supervisors, and vendors regarding parts, procedures, and timelines.</li>\n <li>Keep work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Assist in fleet maintenance as needed, including oil changes, tire rotations, and general vehicle prep.</li>\n <li>Assist Mechanics with Part pickups and drop offs</li>\n <li>Keep Fleet yard organized for better inventory</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required, technical school training a plus.</li>\n <li>1–3 years of experience in vehicle upfitting, automotive mechanics, or related fields.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with 12V electrical systems, wiring, and electronics.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.</li>\n <li>Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Welding and fabrication experience.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations related to fleet vehicles.</li>\n <li>Experience with commercial fleet vehicles (vans, trucks, utility vehicles).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>May be required to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding positions (e.g., bending, crawling, climbing).</li>\n <li>Occasional travel to off-site locations for field installations or deliveries.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Range: </strong>$21.92/Hr to $32.84/Hr (will be dependent upon level of experience)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong> </p>\n<p>Full-time employees are eligible to participate in our benefit plan which includes the following: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Plan</li>\n <li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan</li>\n <li>Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance</li>\n <li>Voluntary Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Voluntary Short Term & Long-Term Disability</li>\n <li>Paid time off</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Henkels & McCoy West, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.</strong></p>",
