    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Shermco Industries is seeking an Medium Voltage Cable Termination Technician.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, commission, and maintain power, instrumentation, process controls, and, SCADA equipment</li>\n <li>Perform routine and emergency maintenance on power, instrumentation, and control systems.</li>\n <li>Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting of power and control systems.</li>\n <li>Coordinate repair, testing, and installation of power and control systems.</li>\n <li>Mechanical and Electrical installations.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Rigid, EMT, PVC coated rigid conduit.</li>\n   <li>Service, feeders, and branch circuits.</li>\n   <li>Controls, fiber, and network cabling.</li>\n   <li>Stainless tubing and instrumentation.</li>\n   <li>Service equipment, MCC, panelboards</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong> to qualify for consideration, you must meet one of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:\n<ul>\n <li>Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or Apprentice Electrician is a plus but not a requirement.</li>\n <li>Field experience in the industrial field with power and control systems.</li>\n <li>Understanding of electrical schematics and controls.</li>\n <li>Self motivated individual – able to work independently with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Team oriented, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.</li>\n <li>Hand and power tool capabilities.</li>\n <li>Willingness to be hands-on and work in the field alongside our engineers and field technicians.</li>\n <li>Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co-workers.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Requirements:</strong>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodationsShould be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam when required·Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.·Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.·Must have a valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.·If applying for position, must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer sponsored visa (work permit).
