We are seeking dynamic and energetic <strong>Hosts</strong> to join our award-winning team at Trattoria Villagio. If you&rsquo;re a customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and are dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences, we want you on our team!</p><p>As a <strong>Host</strong>, your responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and seating guests. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.</p><p><strong>PRIMARY</strong> <strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Welcomes guests with hospitality and courtesy by meeting, greeting and seating them as they arrive</li><li>Maintaining a neat and organized reception area</li><li>Answering phone calls, taking reservations, verifying reservations&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with To-Go orders</li><li>Managing restaurant wait list during high volume periods&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with running food and cleaning tables when necessary&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>General knowledge of basic customer service skills, restaurant operations, and food service principles</li><li>Excellent oral and written communications skills</li><li>Pleasant demeanor with teamwork attitude; ability to work well with others</li><li>Ability to effectively handle customer concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>High School or equivalent.
