Administering various engineering solutions in the areas of cost savings, productivity or reliability improvements throughout the facility and carrying out projects in the field of Product Development, Manufacturing and Engineering.</p><p>Requirements</p><p>   <strong> Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong> </p><p>• Applying engineering knowledge and Six sigma methodologies to establish and maintain control and capability for production processes.</p><p>• Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems through the direction and deployment of engineering to optimize product performance while minimizing cost.</p><p>• Assist in conducting design of experiments studies related to design, production methods, and equipment to recommend improvements based on engineering standards and guidelines.</p><p>• Monitor and report on cost reductions which are a result of design of experiments improvements to improve profit margins.</p><p>• Assist in drafting and designing new products to illustrate maximum efficiency using CAD and simulation programs.</p><p>• Assist in planning and establishing sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization.</p><p>• Coordinating and implementing quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve quality issues and maximize product reliability. </p><p>• Providing creative, innovative and comprehensive problem-solving capability and suggesting practical solutions.</p><p>• Gather data, analyze results and write reports to learn and make recommendations as a part of a cross functional team of engineers, quality control, operations manager and other staff members.</p><p>• Assist in any other projects the engineering department is working on. </p><p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements/Preferences:</strong> </p><p><br/></p><p>• Bachelor’s in Industrial, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering or equivalent experience/education combination.</p><p>• 0–1-year experience in manufacturing, investment casting foundry is a plus</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Skills & Physical Requirements:</strong> </p><p><br/></p><p>• Working knowledge SolidWorks or other CAD program </p><p>• Knowledge of Solid cast or casting simulation</p><p>• Minitab or JMP SPC software</p><p>• Six Sigma and/or Lean</p><p>• Familiarity with ERP system</p><p><br/></p>",
