    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:18.0pt;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain <strong>media-related backend services</strong>&nbsp;for real-time communication (audio, video, screen sharing).</li>\n <li>Implement efficient media routing, session management, and signaling services.</li>\n <li>Optimize performance with adaptive bitrate, congestion control, and low-latency streaming.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the control plane and client teams for seamless integration.</li>\n <li>Monitor and improve media service scalability, resilience, and observability.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:18.0pt;\"><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in <strong>C++&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;and/or <strong>Go</strong>.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of <strong>real-time streaming protocols and WebRTC fundamentals</strong>&nbsp;(ICE, DTLS, RTP, SRTP).</li>\n <li>Experience in building <strong>low-latency distributed systems</strong>&nbsp;or communication backends.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, <strong>monitoring tools</strong>&nbsp;(Prometheus, Grafana), and <strong>cloud environments</strong>.</li>\n <li>Good communication skills and attention to performance optimization details.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\">The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$200,000. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\">All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.</p>",
