Kelvion &ndash; Together, We Shape the Future</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work by performing the following duties.</p><p><strong>What you will be responsible for:</strong></p><ul><li>Studies, schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for products, services, and/or completion of job assignments.</li><li>Requisitions material required to meet production goals.</li><li>Interprets specifications, blueprints, electrical diagrams and job orders to employees and assign duties.</li><li>Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, using knowledge of capacities of machines and equipment.</li><li>Examines assembled products to determine if items meet tolerance specifications.</li><li>Ensures failed products are required to meet specifications.</li><li>Recommends measures&nbsp;to improve methods, performance, and quality of product, and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.</li><li>Analyzes and resolves work problems, and/or assists employees in solving work problems.</li><li>Supervises workers who use hand tools, jigs, and various power tools and equipment.</li><li>Routine trouble shooting and problem solving, including finding ways of improvement for long-term solution.</li><li>Encourage continuous idea generation from team members for continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety.</li><li>Ensure 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner) is being applied on a daily basis.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all equipment is up to date and within the standards needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow updated schedules to meet ship dates provided by management.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organization skill, and communication skill.</li><li>Prioritize tasks in a self-directed and time-managed manner.</li><li>Monitor quality in accordance with the company ISO Quality Plan</li><li>Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and ability to work on&ndash;site.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.</li></ul><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ability to supervise 15 to 25 non-exempt employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Kelvion&rsquo;s policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</li><li>Directing employees&rsquo; work; setting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work of employees; planning and controlling the budget for department; providing for the safety of the employees; planning the work; determining the techniques to be used; apportioning the work among the workers.</li></ul><p><strong><u>COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)</u></strong></p><ul><li>Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. &nbsp;Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form</li></ul><p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li><li>Electrical Journeyman&rsquo;s license or a minimum of 5 years commercial electrical construction experience.</li><li>Minimum 5 years in general management experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer YOU:</strong></p><p>At Kelvion, we take your well-being seriously.
