Whether you&#39;re starting out or leveling up, Academy is a place where fun can’t lose!  </p><p><b>Education</b>:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Experiences: </b></p><ul><li>Five (5)&#43; years of Development &amp; Construction experience required</li><li>Retail experience preferred</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Strategic thinker who can also understand tactical delivery of analysis as needed</li><li>Track record of delivering high-impact results year-over-year</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage all financial aspects of design/construction</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with individuals at all levels</li><li>Ability to operate professionally, effectively and ethically as an individual contributor, member of a team, and leader of a team</li><li>Ability to influence and gain acceptance and approval of ideas, proposals, and solutions</li><li>Solid ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent leadership skills including ability to prioritize critical needs, and handle a high volume of complex tasks within a given timeframe</li><li>Self-motivated, with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision</li><li>Highly developed project management skills</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate between the store team, internal team, contractors, and vendors</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Manages new store AND/OR remodel construction projects</li><li>Travels to job sites regularly to check progress, overall workmanship, and verifies that project is on schedule</li><li>Oversees processing of all pay applications, change order requests for information related to the design and construction of projects</li><li>Reviews paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and supporting documentation</li><li>Returns inaccurate or incomplete pay applications and change order requests for revision/resubmittal</li><li>Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of overnight remodels and minor capital projects</li><li>Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including store directors, to minimize disruption to store operations </li><li>Manages communication between vendors, contractors, and Academy</li><li>Learns and enforces company policies and procedures</li><li>Learns and enforces company safety rules</li><li>Duties may change; Team Member may be required to perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements &amp; Attendance:</b></p><ul><li>Regular attendance required</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed</li><li>Travel is required</li><li>Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties</li><li>Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior</li></ul><h2>Equal Employment Opportunity</h2><p style=\"text-align:left !important\">Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate with regard to employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by law.<b>​</b></p>",
