There’s opportunity around every corner and the support to help you achieve your goals.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role:</span></p>\n<p>The Mechanical Engineer, based in Adelaide, will be a core member of the Product Improvement team in Adelaide contributing to the continual improvement of the Chrysos’ PhotonAssay™ technology. </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage, track and oversee the engineering portion (PCE &amp; ECO) of assigned Product Change Orders (PCOs), meeting agreed timeframe, costs &amp; performance with suitable documentation to enable successful implementation on each affected PhotonAssayTM system globally.</li>\n<li>Identification of performance, safety and reliability improvements to PhotonAssayTM</li>\n<li>Partake in troubleshooting investigations of mechanical issues with existing PhotonAssayTM systems globally.</li>\n<li>Design, validate and document:\n<ul>\n<li>Design of Experiments (DoE)</li>\n<li>Root cause analysis</li>\n<li>Design and build of test equipment</li>\n<li>Accelerated life testing</li>\n<li>Data capture and analysis</li>\n<li>Report out on test/ validation work</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Perform maintenance on the Standalone Automation System.</li>\n<li>Maintain the configuration of the Standalone Automation System to match current production configuration.</li>\n<li>Create and validate Work Instructions (WI) and Bill of Materials (BoM) for Product Change Orders.</li>\n<li>Be actively engaged in Chrysos’ culture of safety and zero-harm. </li>\n<li>Engage closely with suppliers including our major contractor.</li>\n<li>Interact with scientists and engineers in the Chrysos Product Improvement &amp; Development teams.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Product Change Specialist, Supply Chain, Maintenance &amp; Deployment for implementation of PCOs</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Maintenance Engineers to identify faults and root causes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who you are:</span></p>\n<p><em>Essential</em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A tertiary qualification in engineering, preferably mechanical or mechatronics or equivalent experience.</li>\n<li>At least 5 years’ experience in an engineering role.</li>\n<li>Experience with 3D parametric modelling software, such as Onshape or Inventor.</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation, functional specifications, and schematic drawings.</li>\n<li>Able and willing to travel both interstate and internationally.</li>\n<li>Experience working hands on.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <em>Desirable</em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with AutoCAD for the creation of design drawings.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of machine safety and associated regulations and the world.</li>\n<li>Experience working in the mining industry or developing products for mining applications; or experience in material or sample handling applications such as laboratory automation, automotive machine design and food packaging.</li>\n<li>Experience with the specification of refrigeration and HVAC systems for sensitive equipment.</li>\n<li>Experience designing equipment containing radiation sources.</li>\n<li>Experience working with global teams and cultures </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who we are (Our values):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety is a Non-Negotiable</span> - Safety isn’t just a value — it’s our way of life.
