A successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task with an eye for efficiency and a safety mindset. </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">This role is suited for mud rotary drillers willing to learn more about geotechnical drilling, and drillers in training looking to progress into a lead driller role.</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; EXPECTATIONS</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">Equipment Operation</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Set up and operate mud rotary drilling equipment, sampling systems, geophysical instruments and other in-situ testing equipment following Mud Bay Drilling’s procedures in a safe and productive manner.</span><br></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Provide timely assistance to Engineers and Technicians as required.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Assist with the mobilization and demobilization of equipment in hard-to-access environments.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Perform routine maintenance on various pieces of equipment to ensure optimal performance.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">Other General Responsibilities</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Communicate with the Supervisor or Project Manager as to any equipment problems or needs, as well as any field observations that might be of use.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Seek ways to improve operating procedures/processes.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Perform other shop functions as required.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">Education Requirements</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">High School Diploma required.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Driver's license (minimum Class 5) and clean driving record.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Commercial driver's license an asset.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">Experience Requirements</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline;\">Having experience as a driller or driller's helper experience related to geotechnical or mud rotary drilling a huge asset.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">Technical Skill Requirements</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ability to work in mining and oil &amp; gas environments.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving heavy materials up to 50 lbs, climbing, crawling as well as walking on uneven ground, and working long hours in all weather conditions.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
