    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The Donor Relations &amp; Corporate Partnerships Manager plays a key role in driving individual support among donors at the $100-$2,500 levels and supporting corporate development efforts. This position focuses on identifying and qualifying prospective donors through in-person engagement and other fundraising initiatives, building meaningful relationships with new and lapsed supporters, and securing their investment in the company’s work. In parallel, the role leads the development of compelling corporate partnership packages and proposals, aligned with company vision. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for concentrating on prospects who have attended OP performances as a part of <em>Pick Your Price</em><em>. </em>Focusing on increasing the number of donors who will contribute $100 to $2,500 or more annually.</li>\n<li>Applies best practice in moves management and collaborates within the philanthropy team to support back-end operations.</li>\n<li>Manages all team prospect identification efforts, including oversight of a prospect screening process, delegating thank you calls, evaluating donor database prospect portfolios, and managing prospects identified by the philanthropy team, current donors, and other Opera Philadelphia departments.</li>\n<li>Support the creation of corporate sponsorship materials in collaboration with the Chief Philanthropy Officer.</li>\n<li>Support OP’s 5-year <em>Opera, But Different Campaign.</em></li>\n<li>Obtain face-to-face visits with OP subscribers and ticket purchasers to document their relationship with the company along with other biographical details in the hopes of identifying those with greater interest and capacity for deeper involvement, building and executing a cultivation plan, and soliciting their financial support.</li>\n<li>Manage a portfolio of 150-200 prospects toward Patron level giving to OP. Qualify, cultivate, and solicit these households to bring them into the OP donor family.</li>\n<li>Work with current OP donors to identify and leverage their relationships in the identification of new potential donors to OP.</li>\n<li>Serve as the staff liaison to <em>Vivace</em>, OP’s Community for Young Friends ages 21-45.</li>\n<li>Assign and make daily thank-you calls to new-to-file donors to determine their impetus for giving and to screen their potential for greater levels of support.</li>\n<li>Provide oversight of OP’s weekly suspect screening process to identify new</li>\n</ul>\n<p>          donor prospects.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all donor activity in Tessitura,</li>\n</ul>\n<p>         Customer Relationship Management (CRM), using Plans and Donor Information Reports.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate all suspect and renewal portfolios in Tessitura annually to acquire new Donor prospects.</li>\n<li>Staff special events, performances, and committee meetings as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the annual fund program for all donors up to $2,500, including monthly renewal process, direct mail, list development, segmentation, messaging, and analysis</li>\n<li>Maintain a portfolio of mid-level donors</li>\n<li>Participate and drive stewardship initiatives including phone calls, letters, post cards, newsletters, and more</li>\n<li>Oversee direct mail initiatives</li>\n<li>Donor benefit fulfillment</li>\n<li>Donor research and prospecting</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Related Experience</span></span><br><span> </span><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>3+ years working on a nonprofit fundraising team (performing arts preferred)</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent project management capability  </span><br></li>\n<li><span>Excellent written and oral communication skills </span><br></li>\n<li><span>Experience with Tessitura and Wordfly a plus</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong interpersonal skills including active listening and an empathic approach to the specific interests of varied audiences  </span><br></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of fundraising techniques, strategies, research, stewardship, and related best practices</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work evening and weekend hours</span><br></li>\n</ul>",
