    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>LMI is seeking an experienced <strong>Lead Platform Engineer with an active SECRET clearance</strong> and minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience to support a US Special Operations Command mission partner. This role involves working directly with US military and US Government mission partners, as well as other contracting partners, to develop-deploy-maintain cloud-based and on-prem digital & software solutions for the Warfighter.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is adept at applying platform principles in modern software environments, with strong understanding of software integration/testing, strong familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native architectures. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.</p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>This position requires an active Secret clearance.</em></strong>  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, deploy, and manage the logical infrastructure that applications will run on (Platform as a Service – PaaS).</li>\n <li>Ensure all new software functions smoothly across various programs and platforms, including mobile systems.</li>\n <li>Automate the testing, deployment and configuration management processes.</li>\n <li>Maintain the underlying infrastructure including hardware, software, and storage resources to ensure the infrastructure’s reliability, scalability, and security. </li>\n <li>Maintain the overall health and stability of the PaaS and the applications that run on it.</li>\n <li>Configure and deploy containerized applications using Docker & Kubernetes.</li>\n <li>Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements.</li>\n <li>Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended.</li>\n <li>Update and debug existing systems to ensure a smooth user experience and a uniform look across a variety of platforms.</li>\n <li>Optimize new and existing programs for mobile use, including smartphones and tablets.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of an active SECRET clearance</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related technical field</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5-year’s experience planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications for an enterprise level system.</li>\n <li>Previous government technology experience</li>\n <li>Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.</li>\n <li>Experience architecting and developing software/infrastructure for scalable, secure, and distributed systems on Hybrid or Multi-cloud environments.</li>\n <li>Experience using GitLab for CI/CD and automated deployments.</li>\n <li>Experience with Terraform, Ansible playbooks, and/or Linux automation scripts</li>\n <li>Experience with rudimentary APIs or automation scripts to interact with existing APIs.</li>\n <li>Competency with at least one software development programming languages (Python, Java, GO).</li>\n <li>Strong familiarity using Linux toolsets to support and analyze network related topics and issues. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).</li>\n <li>Experience managing, administrating, configuring, deploying, and maintaining environments and system integration tools, including Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, & Grafana.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics at the container level with APM or other tools, including Splunk, ELK, and Prometheus.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of IDAM requirements and technologies including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, hardware tokens, OAuth 2.0, and/or OIDC.</li>\n <li>DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (SEC+ or other)</li>\n <li>Experience with Agile development methodologies and working with Agile teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the Army software development process and its technologies</li>\n <li>Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification</li>\n <li>Experience and/or understanding of US Army processes, business systems, and command and control policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Target Salary Range: $140,000 - $230,000</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Disclaimer:</em></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
