AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE PLANNER LOCATION: Calgary, Alberta, Canada AircraftWorks Ltd. is a Calgary (CYYC) based AMO, and part of the Take Flight Group of Companies which includes Air Partners Corp., and Hangar59.  We maintain a diverse fleet of corporate jets and turboprops and require an experienced maintenance planner.  This position will report directly to the Senior Maintenance Planner but also provide technical admin support to the VP of Maintenance.  The shift for this position will run Monday through Friday , 07:30 to 16:00.   Our ideal candidate has both aircraft maintenance and office experience. BENEFIT PACKAGE DETAILS: The annual compensation will range between $55,000.00 and $85,000.00 based upon previous planning experience and qualifications.  Salaries for AME applicants will be considered separately based on experience.  Vacation packages are negotiable.  Our benefit program includes: BENEFIT PACKAGE DETAILS: Pay rate dependent on experience and endorsements held.  Annual vacation package is negotiable based upon experience. Our benefit program includes: RRSP/TFSA matching program that increases to as much as 15% (7.5% + 7.5%) with time in service. AircraftWorks subsidizes the cost of health benefits by 90% and our package includes extended health care, flexible drug plan, dental and vision benefits, long-term disability and life insurance.  Health spending account that can be used for a broad range of items. Based on time in service up to $1000/year.  Personal spending account, tied to time in service. The personal spending account can be used for almost anything health, physical fitness, or well-being related; even your portion of RRSP contributions! Monthly accrual is based on time in service up to $1200/year. Professional development program that will reimburse you for up to 1000.00/yr. for approved training. Examples include MS office, leadership programs, change management certificates. A broad range of paid time off in addition to your vacation days that includes birthdays off, 10 personal days/year, 4 volunteer days DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS: Monday to Friday day shift, Research parts and labour required to complete short and long term planning Publish daily work packages, Preparing and drafting client communications, Collaborating with flight operations to schedule aircraft maintenance at optimal times, Building annual forecasts and aircraft maintenance budgets, Analysis and assessment of key performance indicators, Updating maintenance quoting data, Assisting with invoicing and other administrative work to help support the team. OUR MUST HAVES: Highly proficient with MS word and excel Previous experience as an aircraft maintenance planner or aircraft maintenance experience as an AME or senior apprentice, Must be able to draft professional documents, Previous experience with Corridor and CAMP would be considered an asset, Valid driver’s license, Must be able to hold restricted area pass (RAIC) A desire to be challenged to provide legendary customer service.
