Works with the Site Director regarding daily duties/ needs of the program; ensures classroom and materials are properly maintained sustains and engaging atmosphere throughout the day.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block--><strong>Classroom Management:</strong> Create a nurturing and structured environment that supports children’s emotional and social development. Use effective behavior management techniques to foster a positive and respectful atmosphere. Supervises children to ensure safety, appropriate behavior, and smooth transitions.</li><li><!--block--><strong>Student Engagement:</strong> Provide individualized support and encouragement to students, ensuring that each child’s needs are met and that they are actively participating in after-school activities.</li><li><!--block--><strong>Family Communication:</strong> Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s progress and any relevant program information. Address any concerns or feedback from families in a timely and professional manner.</li><li><!--block--><strong>YMCA Mission Integration:</strong> Embody and promote the YMCA of Greater Boston’s mission and values through all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
